NAFCO is proud to call Howard County, Maryland, home for over 20 years. We share a facility located on 6.5 acres in Jessup, Maryland, next to the Maryland Seafood Market.

Our state-of-the-art building has 88,000-square-feet of space that functions as the world headquarters for both companies, and includes a full line processing plant, optimum fresh & frozen storage, and office space.

Equipped with the latest technology, we lead the way in food safety and quality assurance. We were one of the first seafood distributors to comply with the policies set by the Food and Drug Administration, and all our processes meet the strict guidelines for HACCP and SQF certification, gold standards for food safety.

We have a full-time Food Safety team ensuring around the clock compliance. Our entire facility is temperature controlled and provides an uninterrupted cold chain that can be documented and tracked.

We believe the latest technology lets us provide the best quality product for our customers, we’ve invested in latest equipment like portioning machines with sophisticated sensory systems that fillet with exact precision so that every order is customized.

We have a marine tank system that can hold up to 10,000 pounds of lobsters and other live crustaceans, as well as thousands of feet of freezer space for storing frozen product.
