We are registered with the FDA and in full compliance with the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002.
Products provided are unadulterated and supply safe, accurately labeled food within the meaning of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act as amended. All operations take place under a federally audited HACCP plan. All seafood is caught, raises and/or harvested is accordance with all local, state and federal regulations. All raw seafood products distributed by Baltimore Crab Company are intended to by fully cooked by the end user.
Our facility is registered and regularly inspected by the FDA, USDA, Maryland State Health Department, and the Department of Natural Resources. We require all our vendors in the fishing and seafood processing industries follow the same guidelines, sourcing all of our seafood from approved waters.
NAFCO Wholesale Fish Dealers ensures all shell stock is chilled below 45 degrees F and shipped in a refrigerated truck, per our HACCP plan. We operate under modernized Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, and are in compliance with the US Food and Drug Administration Guidelines.
